The technological scientists and transportation researchers of Madrenice have been working on futuristic equipment for several years, but have only recently begun to explore hover technology. They launched a series of hoverboard prototypes in order to test the hover mechanics that they hope to incorporate into all models of future vehicles, and so far, have been extremely successful with their work. A rare few models of cars have been rumored to possess hover technology already, but these models are kept under lock and key and have been mostly regarded as rumors by the local population.
Despite their lightweight design, a properly-functioning hoverboard prototype should be able to hold a max weight of 450lbs, making it theoretically possible for two people to share a single board, and should be able to safely travel at 80mph max.
